Design de Cuisine 805 is a kitchen and bath design studio based in Atascadero, California, serving homeowners throughout the Central Coast. Founded by designer Cindy Albert, the studio specializes in cabinetry for kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor spaces, with a focus on thoughtful design, practical layouts, and materials chosen for longevity.
Cindy opened the studio with the belief that there is never a perfect moment to begin — only the willingness to start thoughtfully and grow with intention. What began as a modest showroom has evolved into a collaborative design resource supported by a trusted network of vendors and trades.
The studio works closely with homeowners to help them select cabinetry, finishes, and materials, and to guide them through the decision-making process with clarity and confidence. Whether clients are renovating, building new, or sourcing cabinetry, the goal is always the same: to balance aesthetics, function, and budget while creating spaces that feel considered, livable, and enduring.
Cindy Albert
Cindy Albert is a kitchen and bath designer based on California’s Central Coast, specializing in thoughtful, well-proportioned cabinetry and design guidance for residential projects. She helps homeowners and contractors navigate kitchen and bath decisions with clarity, practicality, and an emphasis on timeless design.
Cindy earned her design degree from the Interior Designers Institute in Newport Beach, California, where several of her student projects were recognized in the school’s Hall of Fame. Her early career included residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, including work for a high-traffic property located directly across from Disneyland’s main entrance. She has also contributed to an international residential project in Hong Kong for an American client relocated abroad.
After relocating to the Central Coast, Cindy focused her practice on kitchen and bath design, working with clients throughout San Luis Obispo County and beyond. Her work centers on helping clients make confident, informed decisions — balancing aesthetics, function, and budget — whether they are renovating a home, building new, or sourcing cabinetry.
Through her studio and online shop, Cindy curates ready-to-assemble cabinetry and provides design guidance that makes the process approachable and transparent. Her work reflects a preference for warm, timeless interiors, practical layouts, and materials chosen for longevity rather than trends.
